Audi to Launch S7 Sportback in 2013
The Audi S7 has not yet been released for sale but its features and exquisite character already have become a hit with auto lovers. The model will be released in the spring of 2012 in European countries and will later be available in US showrooms as a 2013 model. It has all the features any auto lover would want such as a impressive interiors, light weight body, elite color and a stunning functionality.
The five door coupe uses an engine similar to those in the Audi S6 and S6 Avant models; it is a new 4.0 TFSI with 420 hp (309 KW). The Audi S7 accelerates from 0 to 62.14mph in 4.9 seconds using the twin-turbo V8 to achieve this. The sports coupe has a maximum speed of 155.34 mph and consu
mes only 9.7 liters after being driven for a distance of 100km.
The profound efficiency portrayed by the car is mainly due to the lightweight property it has. The aluminum body renders it 15% lighter than a similar model made entirely of steel. One of the components that are extremely light is the rear hatch, which can be opened and closed automatically through a touch of button. Although this is considered to be a standard, it is still a superb feature and a favorite among Audi lovers.
The Audi S7 sportback has 18.89 cu ft of volume for the luggage apartment and can increase up to an incredible 49.09 with folded rears of the back seats. The coupe is an all wheel drive and has the power transmission enabled by a dynamic 7-speed S tronic. It also has the standard features on the chassis, which are inclusive of Audi drive select dynamic system and the air suspension sport, which is adaptive.
Interior properties are something else that portrays the sports side of the Audi S7. The s7 logos and the red ring on the start-stop button are some of the trademark items that are intended to make the car classic. A stainless steel footrest that matches the pedals adds to the interior glamour of the S7 sportback. The driver will also enjoy soft buttons for the MMI operating system finished with the classic aluminum look.
The S7 also features S sport seats that are height adjustable and they come standard with power lumbar supports. The car has a generous storage space of 18.89 cubic feet and it expands to 49.09 cubic feet when one folds down the rear seat backs. The debut sales of the S7 sportback will take place from the beginning of the year 2012. Some of the stunning features for both appeal and functionality include xenon plus headlights and these LEDs operate as the car runs during the day.
